Thanks to everyone who took time to submit photos
to the contest. We received over 300 photos, and judging was a monumental
task, with entries being received right up to the deadline.
In the process of gathering photos for this
contest, approximately 50 photos, older than 1960 were submitted, including many
from 1900 to 1920. Since it is impossible to judge those heritage photos
against modern technology, Limerick Lake Lodge will be sponsoring a "Heritage
Photo" contest in the summer of 2007 for photos older than 1970. So dig
out those old photo albums and start scanning.
